Choose a starting point
Understand Genius Fixers hourly IT pricing, monthly quote factors, travel charges and the scope questions that make support proposals comparable.
Prepare your requirements
You can discuss a defined issue, a project or ongoing monthly coverage. The right arrangement depends on how frequently you need support, the systems involved and the impact of interruptions. A monthly quote should follow an inventory and requirements discussion rather than an assumed price per business.
Published pay-as-you-go IT labor
Genius Fixers publishes IT labor at $150 per hour in 15-minute increments, with a $37.50 minimum. An hour of labor is $150; two hours of labor are $300. These are labor examples, not total project quotes. Parts, licenses and travel are separate. The published on-site travel charge is $65 within 40 miles; confirm the address and any additional travel before scheduling.
What changes a monthly quote
Relevant inputs include user and device counts, servers, applications, locations, service hours, security requirements and backup scope. Discuss onboarding, ongoing administration and vendor coordination. Unlimited support refers to the work covered by the agreement; ask how excluded work and projects are authorized and billed.
Use a like-for-like comparison
For each proposal, record the covered users and systems, support channels, response targets, maintenance windows, backup retention and recovery testing. Ask whether licenses are included and who owns the accounts. Check the agreement’s renewal, cancellation and handover terms alongside the headline price.
Bring a practical brief
Prepare approximate user and device counts, your locations, key applications and the problem you want to address. Avoid sending passwords or sensitive customer records through the website. We can use the first conversation to identify what needs reviewing before a written quote is prepared.
Talk through your requirements
