Start with what needs to improve.

Bring the frustrations your team is experiencing. We’ll discuss what better support should look like for your business.

01 / TIME FOR A CHANGE?

Waiting for help?

Discuss how your team requests support, who owns each issue and the coverage you need. Agree on the support process before the new plan begins.

02 / TIME FOR A CHANGE?

The same problems keep returning?

Identify recurring issues, affected systems and business impact. Use those priorities to shape the transition and ongoing maintenance plan.

03 / TIME FOR A CHANGE?

Unclear bills or responsibilities?

Clear expectations

Know what happens next.

Your proposal should define the transition work and the ongoing support plan.

01 / YOUR PLAN

A handover with clear ownership

Identify what needs to move and who will coordinate each part.

  • Business-owned administrator accounts and authorized access
  • Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, domains and vendor contacts
  • Device inventory, network documentation and backup responsibilities
02 / YOUR PLAN

An ongoing plan you understand

Agree on the service before it starts, including any transition work.

  • Covered users, devices, applications and support hours
  • How to request help and escalate an urgent issue
  • Monthly pricing, onboarding work, exclusions and separate charges

We agree on access, timing and any maintenance windows before changes are made. Onboarding, migration, hardware, licenses and other project costs are confirmed in your written proposal.

Your first conversation

Bring your questions.
A few details help.

You do not need a complete technical inventory to get started. Share what you know, and we’ll identify what needs to be confirmed.

Keep passwords and recovery codes out of the enquiry form. We’ll agree on a secure way to exchange access details when needed.

Call (703) 419-9000
Can we speak before notifying our current IT provider?

Yes. Start with a conversation about your priorities and current setup. Review your agreement and notice requirements before committing to dates. Provider coordination and system access happen with your authorization.

Will switching interrupt our business?

The plan should identify affected systems, dependencies and any maintenance windows. Timing and potential interruptions depend on your environment and the work required; we do not promise a zero-downtime transition.

What if our current provider manages the accounts or backups?

Identify account ownership, administrator access, backup coverage and the process for transferring management. We can help outline what needs to be requested and coordinate the agreed handover with your authorization.

Do we have to replace our computers or software?

A change of provider does not automatically require replacement. We review your existing setup and discuss compatibility, supportability and any recommended changes before agreeing on work.

How long does switching take, and what does it cost?

Timing and cost depend on users, systems, access, your current agreement and the amount of transition work. We confirm the scope, responsibilities, schedule and any onboarding or project charges in your proposal.

Can you support our business outside Northern Virginia?

Yes. Genius Fixers provides remote IT support nationwide, with scheduled onsite service across Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DC. We confirm coverage and the support your environment needs before work begins.
